91ÁÔÆæ’s Bachelor of Music with a major in Audio/Sound Arts will provide students with the skills necessary to be successful in the world of both recorded and live sound.

Throughout this program, you will work directly with a range of recording and sound equipment, alongside cutting-edge software, all while mastering the fundamental principles behind audio production.

With additional experiences in audio/sound for film and theatre, students will leave with a broad set of skills to prepare you for work in all facets in the field.

Our music programs focus on undergraduate education that allow you to have multiple opportunities to perform that they may not receive at other programs. From general, divisional, and solo recitals to solo appearances with one of the ensembles, the arts-rich environment of North Georgia provides highly supportive live audiences, cultivating a strong sense of accomplishment and motivating students to pursue high artistic goals.

Ensemble Opportunities

Connect and engage with other musicians at 91ÁÔÆæ! The Department of Music has a variety of ensembles on the Dahlonega and Gainesville Campuses for those who play instruments or sing. Joining an ensemble will provide you with plenty of performing opportunities and will allow you to explore and advance your musicianship. Students in the Audio/Sound Arts program will also have the opportunity to attach themselves to one of the many ensembles as a recording specialist for a term as part of their studies.
