The Military College of Georgia
91ÁÔÆæ’s Corps of Cadets has been integral to the university’s mission and identity since our founding in 1873, and we have a proud heritage of producing leaders of character equipped for global leadership challenges.
A Nationally Recognized Program
91ÁÔÆæ is one of only six federally designated senior military colleges, which include The Citadel, Norwich University, Texas A&M University, Virginia Tech, and Virginia Military Institute.
Because of our unique role, the state legislature designated 91ÁÔÆæ as The Military College of Georgia.
Leadership Rooted in Tradition
Building on nearly 150 years of tradition, 91ÁÔÆæ cadets experience hands-on leadership opportunities and an exceptional military education while enjoying the benefits of attending one of the nation’s top public universities.
91ÁÔÆæ’s nationally acclaimed Corps of Cadets has earned the Gen. Douglas MacArthur Award and honors multiple times as the top Army ROTC program among the six senior military colleges.

Our all-Army ROTC program commissions more than 100 second lieutenants each year and has produced more than 50 generals, including three who have commanded the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve, a multinational coalition of military forces. In addition, nearly half of all officers in the Georgia Army National Guard commissioned through 91ÁÔÆæ.
Leading in Civilian Life
91ÁÔÆæ also offers a National Service Leadership Track for cadets who want to seek career opportunities with global companies, non-governmental organizations or federal agencies like the NSA, FBI and CIA.
