Viewbook 2025: Connor Moore
Hello, my name is Connor Moore. I'm a senior at the University of North Georgia on the Dahlonega
campus majoring in cyber security. I chose cyber security because I'm very technically savvy and
very technically focused. I like learning a lot about technology and how to secure it,
especially going through our daily lives. And I got the unique privilege this past year to go
present my research in Tokyo, Japan. Getting to learn how to help others secure their technology
around the world and get to share my thoughts and learn from others. On campus, I'm involved in the
Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Students Against Trafficking, AFCEA- Armed Forces Communications
and Electronics Association, the Cyber Unit where I'm the commander, and also the Cyber
Hawks. My best advice for new freshmen is to go out, get involved, make friends. You'll find what
community you want to get involved in and where your people are. For me that was my freshman year.
I got involved in BCM. Met a ton of friends there and I've had those same friends my entire time
here. Yeah, just get involved and step out of your comfort zone and it'll make you better. What comes
next for me is I'm going to commission in the Georgia Army National Guard as a cyber officer as
well as looking to find some full-time employment in the cyber space around the Atlanta area.
